I'm too cynical to believe this is "proof" of anything yet, but I certainly hope this agreement turns out to be as good as it sounds. Maybe next, Obama can make it so that my mother, who has rheumatoid arthritis, doesn't have to go without her medication several months every year as she and her doctor fight with the insurance company to convince them she really needs it.
