But I've found that through Facebook, I have been prompted to reach out to more people, more often, than I ever did before. Even though it's electronic communication, at least it's communication, which wasn't occurring before and, in reality, wouldn't be occurring otherwise. So now I feel as though a call to someone I haven't seen in three years wouldn't be such a "cold call," because we've talked on Facebook. Plus, Wordscraper staves off Alzheimer's. I’m a former Facebook skeptic. But I’ve found that through Facebook, I have been prompted to reach out to more people, more often, than I ever did before.
